Production Supervisor - Fabrication

Position Type: Full-time

Shift Hours: Third Shift 9:30pm - 6:00 am


Position Description:

Production Supervisor provides leadership and supervision to production employees during designated shift. Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring all operational functions meet or exceed the company objectives.


  • Thorough working knowledge of all operations and equipment throughout areas of responsibility
  • Train and develop staff to fullest potential, daily coaching and interaction with employees
  • Promote positive attitude
  • Constant awareness of machine utilizations and maintenance activities
  • Follow up on all process related deficiencies
  • Analyze daily defects
  • Work closely with engineers to maintain and enhance process
  • Maintain tour ready work areas
  • Follow and complete necessary revisions of all written procedures (if applicable)
  • Ensure all operators are following safe work practices
  • Enforce company policies per the Employee Handbook and Health and Safety Handbook 
    Participate in optimization teams to work on short and long term process improvement opportunities.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Able to read, write, comprehend and communicate in English
  • Ability to read and follow written instructions
  • Ability to speak, read, and neatly write English
  • Ability to process high school level mathematics
  • Ability to work together as part of a team under limited supervision or independently
  • 5 years minimum experience in Printed Circuit Board manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with standard manufacturing design rules, fabrication drawings, customer specifications and industry specifications
  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English to the degree necessary to perform the job
  • Understand technology associated with manufacturing high technology circuit boards
  • Ability to coordinate and work effectively with all departments
  • Computer skills helpful
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a department supervisor in manufacturing environment; PCB industry preferred


Required Internal Training:

  • HCI Orientation
  • All pertaining process procedures that relate to job function


Required Education:

  • High school diploma required; Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand and sit.  The employee is frequently required to use hand to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools. The employee is required to frequently reach with hands and arms, manipulate parts in repetitive motions; stoop, kneel; and talk to hear.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or up to 50  pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, a depth perceptions and the ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to areas that contain chemicals used in the manufacturing of Printed Circuit Boards.  The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock.
The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.
