Position Description:

Performs the process of receiving required parts per purchase order; verifies material received matches items listed on the purchase order; performs daily reconciliation of receiving / purchase documentation.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for inspecting incoming electronic products and materials.
  • Ensures each receipt must have documentation (supply chain, certificate of conformance, serial numbers as required) to support production system entries.
  • Maintains inbound inspection area, inspection tools, receiving inspection files, and shares findings with the quality supervisor/manager
  • Works closely with the Assembly Department to ensure proper supplies arrived and meet purchase order specifications


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Able to read, write, comprehend and communicate in English
  • Able to use micrometers; microscope; and surface measurement tools
  • Experience in contract electronics manufacturing materials and inventory
  • Understanding of electronic record keeping
  • Basic understanding of materials inventory, SKU’s, part numbers, and serial numbers.
  • Specific Knowledge, Skills, Licenses, Certifications Etc. (preferred but not required)

J-STD 001 Certified
Familiar with Mechanical Drawings

  • Ability to work together as part of a team under limited supervision or independently

 

Beneficial Skills and Experience:

  • Basic computer skills
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)

 

Required Internal Training:

  • HCI Orientation
  • All pertaining process procedures that relate to job function

 

Required Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
