Shift Hours: First 7:30 am - 4:00 pm

 

Position Description:

We are an electronics manufacturing company located in North San Diego County looking for a hardworking and quick learning motivated individual for an assembly purchasing agent. For this position, we are looking for individuals who work well in teams, but are also able to work independently

 

Responsibilities:

  • Read customer BOMs and documentation
  • Search on approved internet electronic manufacturing parts websites
  • negotiate and purchase electronic components
  • Enter customer and purchasing information into our company ERP system

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Able to read, write, comprehend and communicate in English
  • Ability to speak, read, and neatly write English
  • Ability to process high school level mathematics
  • Ability to work together as part of a team under limited supervision or independently

 

Beneficial Skills and Experience:

  • Basic computer skills
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Microsoft Outlook

 

Required Internal Training:

  • HCI Orientation
  • All pertaining process procedures that relate to job function

 

Required Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
