Shift Hours: First 7:30 am - 4:00 pm
Position Description:
We are an electronics manufacturing company located in North San Diego County looking for a hardworking and quick learning-motivated individual for an assembly purchasing agent. For this position, we are looking for individuals who work well in teams but are also able to work independently
Responsibilities:
- Read customer BOMs and documentation
- Search on approved internet electronic manufacturing parts websites
- negotiate and purchase electronic components
- Enter customer and purchasing information into our company ERP system
Minimum Qualifications:
- Able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English
- Ability to speak, read, and neatly write English
- Ability to process high school-level mathematics
- Ability to work together as part of a team under limited supervision or independently
Beneficial Skills and Experience:
- Basic computer skills
- Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft Outlook
Required Internal Training:
- HCI Orientation
- All pertaining process procedures that relate to job function
Required Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
