Department: Assembly

Position Type: Full-time

Shift Hours: First 5:00 am - 1:30 pm, Second Shift 1:30 pm - 10:00 pm or Third Shift 8:30pm - 5:00 am

 

Position Description:

Performs repetitive workstation or line assembly operations to include: Prep, Hand-line Assembly, Auto Insertion, Solder Cell, Secondary Operations, and Post Assembly.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Varies based on the current project 

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English
  • Able to stand for long periods (4 hours a day?)
  • Specific Knowledge, Skills, Licenses, Certifications Etc. (preferred but not required)

J-STD 001 Certified
Familiar with BOMs, Drawings, Schematics
Smart Tweezers and Calipers

  • Ability to read and follow written instructions
  • Ability to speak, read, and neatly write English
  • Ability to process high school-level mathematics
  • Ability to work together as part of a team under limited supervision or independently

 

Beneficial Skills and Experience:

  • Basic computer skills

 

Required Internal Training:

  • HCI Orientation
  • All pertaining process procedures that relate to job function

 

Required Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or up to 50  pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perceptions, and the ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to vibration.  The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to the risk of electrical shock.
